My daughter I had the Cajun pasta which has shrimp and sausage. It was amazing!! My son had the captains platter and loved it. The waitress was wonderful and friendly. The only critique I would say is the directions to the restaurant are baffling. Here's a tip if you are looking for this place, it's inside the Ramada Hotel!!! It was so hard to find. People around the place have never heard of it. But it was worth all the effort!!

    Inside the Ramada!
You won't find it if you don't know this!
We were pulled in by the Cajun pasta reviews but it was not to be. The restaurant closes at 1:30 in the afternoon so at 1 they won't serve anything except the blue plate special. We split it. For $10 it was plenty for 2 people. Today was pork chop w cornbread, salad, soup, beans & rice with sausage & really good fried onion side dish. Yes, lots of food.
Oddly  it seems we were the only people in the hotel-opens to the common areA. Quiet! Quiet! As in: is this really a hotel or the 'front' for something else!!?!?!
Anyway it was tasty fare but lacklusterly served to say the best. We've never ever been given our bill when we ordered?--even before our silverware or water glasses!??? So, it was good but very weird experience.
On a side note the hotel grounds were lovely-it's December & there are flowers blooming & really quite nice.
